INTRODUCTION
Good Morning my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we celebrate Tuesday of the 12th Week in the Ordinary Time, Liturgical Calendar Year B.

FROM OUR FIRST READING
In our First reading this morning, we see how King Hezekiah turns to God in prayer. He faces a serious threat from the Assyrian king, Sennacherib. Instead of panicking, Hezekiah prays for help.
God hears Hezekiah’s prayer and responds through the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah delivers a message of hope and assurance. He tells Hezekiah that God will protect Jerusalem.
This teaches us the power of prayer. When we face difficulties, we can pray and trust that God listens. Prayer is a way to connect with God and seek His help.

FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
In our Gospel passage today, Jesus teaches us about respect for holy things. He says not to give what is holy to those who will not value it. This means we should be careful with what is sacred.
Jesus also gives us the Golden Rule: treat others as you want to be treated. This simple rule guides our actions. It helps us to be kind and fair to everyone.
Lastly, Jesus speaks about a narrow path that leads to life. He says that only a few find it. This means that following God’s way is not always easy.

CONCLUSION
Today, Jesus invites us to imagine how we would like people to treat us, to ask ourselves the question, ‘what do I really want from another person?’ Most of us would answer that question along similar lines. We want from others respect, tolerance, loyalty, understanding, compassion, justice. Having engaged in that exercise of imagining how we would like others to treat us, Jesus then declares that we should act towards others in a way that reflects those very same qualities. In a sense, this rule is not far removed from the commandment to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. We are to relate in the same loving way to others as we would like ourselves to be related to.
The Lord be with You.
