INTRODUCTION
Good Morning my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we celebrate Wednesday of the 12th Week in the Ordinary Time, Liturgical Calendar Year B.

FROM OUR FIRST READING
In the first reading, the high priest found the book of the law. This discovery was a big moment because the people had forgotten God’s commandments.
The king read the book and realized they had been disobedient. He saw how far they had strayed from God’s ways. This realization led to a deep sense of sorrow and a desire to make things right.
To fix their mistakes, the king renewed the covenant with the LORD. This act was not just for him, but for all the people. They all agreed to follow God’s laws and return to a faithful life.

This reading therefore, shows us that obedience to God is essential. When the people realized their mistakes, they did not ignore them. Instead, they chose to repent and change their ways.

FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
In our Gospel Reading, Jesus warns us about false prophets. He tells us to recognize them by their actions, just like we know good and bad trees by their fruit. This teaches us to be careful and discerning.
Good actions come from a good heart. Just as a good tree produces good fruit, a faithful person will show good deeds. Jesus encourages us to live in a way that reflects our faith in God.

CONCLUSION
Dear friends in Christ, the liturgical readings of today, remind us to stay true to God’s word. Rediscovering God’s laws can lead to repentance and a renewed commitment to Him. We must also be cautious of false leaders and focus on living a life that bears good fruit.
By following these lessons, we can grow in our faith and live more faithfully. Obedience, repentance, and discernment are key to a strong relationship with God. Let us strive to live according to His ways every day.

I wish everyone a Blessed Wednesday.
